Coaching Philosophy: What I have learned from two years of coaching is to understand each of my athletes and then develop and improve their competencies and performance. I have learned to value fairness, integrity, responsibility and respect.  I will always strive to provide a positive coaching/playing environment, with a focus on sportsmanship and how to have fun and to love the game.

Best volleyball memory: One of my favorite volleyball memories was when playing for the former Arlington Elite 18s team.  We qualified and played for the Junior National Championships in Wisconsin. It was an amazing experience and I hope that every player has the same opportunity.

My life in sports: I have been playing volleyball for 11 years. I started when I was 10 years old and have had a passion for volleyball ever since.  My second love was basketball and played competitively on summer and recreation leagues throughout high school.

When I’m not coaching: I currently play DII volleyball as a back-row specialist at Goldey-Beacom College.  I go to school full time and will graduate in May 2020.  I will then pursue a Master’s in Financial Management at Goldey-Beacom College.

Favorite subject: Math

Favorite book: Mind Gym by Gary Mack – a great read for all athletes.

Favorite movie:  Bridesmaids-it’s a guaranteed laugh every time.

Favorite quote: There may be people that have more talent than you, but there’s no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do.” – Derek Jeter

Person I’d Like to Have Dinner With: My grandma!

Something you probably don’t know:  In 2017, prior to my shoulder injury, I ranked 7th in the Nation in service aces and 11th in the Nation in aces per set.
