Coaching Philosophy: My coaching philosophy is to create an environment in which players can learn and grow. I want to help players understand why we teach them to play a certain way. I think that players play at their best when they understand what they are doing and why they are doing it. By developing their “volleyball IQ,” players gain the ability to make game-time decisions that characterize smart volleyball players.
Best Volleyball Moment: Placing 3rd in the National division at USAV Nationals with the 17-Granite team, during the first year of ECP-Delaware.
My Life in Sports: I started playing volleyball when I was in the fourth grade. I played club for 9 years at many different clubs in Delaware, and played varsity all four years in high school at Padua Academy. I played at ECP-Delaware during its debut season my 17s year and again for my 18s year. I now play D2 volleyball at Jefferson University.
When I’m not Coaching Volleyball… I’m a student-athlete at Jefferson University in Philadelphia studying biochemistry and playing D2 volleyball.
